Consider the Mathews Drenalin

The new Mathews Drenalin has taken all of the features that made the bow so popular to begin with and has added more such as SE3 Composite Limbs making it tough and the suggestion is that these limbs will last twice as long as other limbs. It’s a light bow to boot at only 3.85 lbs and it’s powerful at 320 fps for all of those who believe power is important in a bow. The jury’s sorta out on that one. Dampers, Roller Guard, Perimeter-weighted cam, string suppressors and parallel-limbs to help reduce vibration and noise.

Know Your Specs

When going out to buy a new compound bow it is important to have an idea of the specifications of the bow. How fast it is, the size and the weight of the bow you’re after tell you a lot about whether the bow will be suitable for your shooting style.

Gaining an understanding of what the specifications mean will come with time and with test firing a lot of bows. You will pretty soon learn that a bow with a 60″ draw weight is exactly what you’re looking for, particularly on a bow that measures 31″ from axle to axle.

The aim of this site is to list as many bow specs as possible to make it easier to compare one bow with another.
